kjtrout: I have a question, prior to my first mission: Are there any damage modifiers from the new Italian Fighters I may encounter (qots player) similar to the fw190 for example(1.5 hits), that I am unaware of? Thanks!

onezuludelta: Alright, I ran through a mission on VASSAL and I think I got the hang of it, I think I'll join and just play VASSAL until I get the physical copy in the mail

linnyfish8: Awesome, thank you. that is what I thought. I'll edit my post with the "correct" numbers (I put both just so I wouldn't get confused)
Sept 18, 2020 13:45:16 GMT -8
crushedhat: Correct. You must either complete the mission or abort after having engaged the enemy.
Sept 18, 2020 13:11:26 GMT -8
linnyfish8: Just to make sure, for the latest mission we crashed on takeoff and are Cat-E. For the crew that survives, this does not count towards their mission total since we didn't even take off, right?

onezuludelta: Ah, nice, thanks for the link! "the 509th will be moving either to Algeria or England or Dakar or New Orleans"... being from New Orleans, I can confidently say y'all got shortchanged with the move to Algeria.
Sept 18, 2020 5:40:54 GMT -8
onezuludelta: And this is in Algeria, then the next in Italy?
Sept 17, 2020 5:03:44 GMT -8
onezuludelta: Thanks limburger59 it looks like a great time, I especially think it will be even easier to get into the game with all this wonderful campaign pre-planning already done for me!. Another question, the last campaign was based in Malta?

medic1: Actually, Lame Horse became a POW on mission 027
Sept 16, 2020 17:49:51 GMT -8
limburger59: Answer for onezuludelta - Active players depends on Real Life. One mission may have a dozen players assigned to a squadron submitting AARs. The next mission only 8. We don’t limit the number of players to 6 per squadron as enjoying the game is priority.
